In the framework of the rescheduled 5th AISDD Symposium for 2021, new applications for Educational Grants will be accepted!
Delegates who have been accepted to receive an educational grant for 2020 and have confirmed their participation by sending their e-tickets (when requested) and by completing their registration, are entitled to receive the educational grant for the 5th AISDD 2021. To confirm the transfer of the grants benefits, delegates are requested to:

can apply for up to 20 educational grants in total to attend the upcoming Symposium
with a deadline until April 15th, 2021.
The above date is only valid for UEG National Society Members.
Restricted educational grants may be provided to conference sponsors to help off-set registration, travel and hotel costs for participants wishing to attend the 5th AISDD 2021.
The 5th AISDD 2021 has been assessed by Ethical MedTech’s Conference Vetting System (CVS) and has been rendered compliant. Visit the website HERE for more information.
Our Industry Partners can issue us with an educational grant and we will select recipients based on criteria set by the Industry Partner. Companies will be able to define the type of recipients eligible for the grant but not name individual recipients.
Grants will cover the cost of registration, accommodation during the symposium and travel expenses.
Educational grants must be publicly disclosed, ensuring increased transparency of funds allocated to medical education.

Note that in order to process grant contracts, criteria, selection and registration of individuals, we will be unable to accept any further grant submissions after December 31st, 2020.
IRs wishing to attend the 5th AISDD 2021 will be able to receive reimbursement for their travel, hotel and registration expenses to attend the Symposium upon their arrival at the Secretariat of the Symposium.
Please fill in the online form available HERE to submit your request the latest by December 31st, 2020. Only a limited number of grants will be available. Requests will be distributed on a first come first served basis. The 5th AISDD 2021 reserves the right to close the programme at any time, or as soon as all available grants have been allocated.
Once we have received your application, a notification will be sent to your registered email. The final decision of acceptance or rejection will be sent to you upon evaluation and the latest by January 31st, 2021.
All accepted IRs, will be asked to complete the following steps the latest by February 29th, 2021 in order to complete their registration to the Symposium and receive the grant:

It should be noted that the grant opportunity is available to individuals who:

Completing the grant application form indicates confirmation form the IR that the above statements are valid and he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria.
The educational grants are available to support the 5th AISDD 2021 registration, travel and accommodation costs only. All arrangements regarding travel, accommodation, registration to the Symposium and any required travel documentation (e.g. visa, study leave, etc…) remain the full responsibility of the applicant. Granted allowances are not transferable to third parties. If a successful applicant is unable to attend the 5th AISDD 2021 for any reason, he/she must immediately notify Conferre Team (email@example.com). Cancellation without prior notification will lead to ineligibility for future educational grant programmes. In case of absence due to illness, force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances, the educational allowance is deemed to be null and void, and the candidate is asked to explain his/her absence. Grants will be reimbursed via bank transfer after the congress and only upon receipt of the official reimbursement document at the Registration desk of the Symposium including all relevant original invoices associated with travel and accommodation.
